Castle Cliffs 2.0

BLM calls this area Castle Cliffs.  We do not know if they are really referring to this photo but they may be.

This is a mostly easy ride that will take you to a group of towers at 7500' and then back down low to scattered stands of Joshua Trees.

The view west of the towers is into Beaver Dam Wash.  A whole bunch of nothing.

The only section of the trail deserving of the 2.0 rating is the last mile up to the towers - worse than the section pictured.  It is a graded road, but the hills are steep with a lot of loose rocks.  We used 4 low so we could creep up them.  A 2WD vehicle would struggle.

A short trail that goes quickly, but well worth the trip.
