Gemini Bridges From Below 2.0

View Gemini Bridges from below, see the huge Bull Canyon pour-off and also explore more of scenic Bull Canyon, including an old mine.
Lots of people walk on the tops of Gemini Bridges, but few take the easy hike of less than a half mile to see them from below.

Gemini Bridges is the "hook" for this trail, but there is much more to see while you are here.

There is a GPS - gpx track file at the bottom of the page.

It is a nice drive from Gemini Bridges Road down to the bridges.

As you look at the bridges from below, look over your shoulder to see a future bridge being formed.

The road continues beyond the bridges for less than 2 miles then forks into 2 short dead end spurs.  The upper spur dead ends with no apparent mining activity, but the lower spur accesses at least 2 mines.  We only went to one of the mines as the road to the other was beginning to erode and we thought it might get worse after heavy rains.

Mining above lower spur
The lower spur is more difficult than the rest of the trail, but a stock Jeep can likely make it with proper tire placement.

The mine was open but we did not go in.
