​SPOOK - DEE BULLSEYE COLEMAN MINE GP

This is a graded road that passes the Spook - Dee Bullseye Coleman Mine.

We do not know any history of the mine except that it produced uranium and copper.  Our information comes from WesternMiningHistory.com.

​A good way to get between Highway 95 and Red Canyon.  We traveled east to west.

A relic of the past

This round arch is on the eastern portion of the trail.  Quite unusual.

The road is graded all the way.  It is likely maintained as access to the uranium Daneros Mine owned by Energy Fuels Resources.

We did not find any obvious shafts, but it appears that tracks came from the gray mineral outcrops to this large concrete pad.  Lots of debris left.

Thin walled pipe must have been used for ventilation.

What was this?

There is an intact shaft visible from the road west of Spook - Dee Coleman.  Possibly the George H. Group Mine.  The shaft appears to be well supported but we did not enter.
