Table Mesa Technical Vehicle Trails

The Table Mesa Recreation Area comprises approximately 11,557 acres of BLM land used for hikers, off-highway vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts, and campers.

The Table Mesa Route Map shows all legal routes for the area.
BLM has established a few Technical Vehicle Trails in the area.

Technical Vehicle Sites require specialized equipment such as body lifts, over size tires and locking axle differentials.  These areas have large rocks and off-camber obstacles.

Some can be traversed with modified Jeeps and others require buggies.

We have not driven many of these so are listing them for your exploration.

We also include a few similar trails not labeled as TV by BLM.

TV-1 Diehard

Diehard runs from one side of Crapshoot Powerline Loop 3.0 to the other.  I stood high on the southern entrance to the trail and took this photo with a telephoto lens.  I have no idea what the rest of the trail is like.

TV-2,3,5 Terminator

Terminator is divided into three TV trails by the BLM but I have combined them into one.  I did this trail a few years ago in my Jeep with a 4.5" lift, so it is not strictly a buggy trail.  Remembery rates it either a 4.0 or 4.5 with many extra credits available.

Gpx file is from Google Earth so may not be exactly right.  I am not sure I have the entrance to Upper Terminator (TV3) in the right place.

TV-4 Anaconda

A very short trail that ends near the beginning of Terminator.

TV-(Not) Annihilator

Easy to see where this trail got it's name.

TV-(Not) Predator

This is in the same wash as Annihilator, and ends where Annihilator starts.  My guess is that they are two individual trails because many people that can do Predator cannot not do Annihilator.

TV-(Not) Raw Deal

Raw Deal is a short trail up a wash on State Trust Land.  I have walked the trail but have not driven it.  I would guess it to be a 4.0 or 4.5 for difficulty.  Not as bad as some of the actual TV trails.
